GRASSROOTS FOUNDATION STEPS UP RELIEF ASSISTANCE FOR FLOODS AFFECTED COMMUNITIES.

The worst floods in the century have made nearly one million people homeless and claimed 37 lives with massive economic damage in the country after weeks of heavy rain. The Central and Eastern provinces of the island have been worst hit by the monsoon rains, with frequent mudslides and raising water levels.

Our project villagers in Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa and Ampara districts have been affected by the devastating floods which forced to leave their homes.
